Colorado State University Rangeland Ecology Club
Due to Covid-19 and CSU policies, the club did not send students to the International SRM 2022 Meeting in Albuquerque. The club also hasn't had in person meetings on-campus and the SRM 2021 Annual International Meeting in Boise was held virtually.
However in past years the club has had great representation at the annual SRM Meetings and students have enjoyed participating in the poster presentations, camaraderie and competing in Rangeland Cup, Plant Identification, the Undergraduate Range Management Exam (URME), and Extemporaneous Speaking. The club members also attend ranch tours and annual meetings held by the Colorado Section. During the school year, the club invites guest speakers to their meetings and the plant identification team prepares for the annual competition at SRM. The club raises funds for traveling to these events through t-shirts and stickers designed by members, through work projects including habitat restoration. |
