Save the date for our 2023
fall annual meeting in October in Beautiful Canon City!!!
The final date for our annual meeting in October will be decided in a couple of days. So stay tuned for the next announcement in your email, on Facebook and here!
We'll have a CSSRM Board of Directors meeting the afternoon before followed by an evening social. Then spend the morning with speakers discussing rangeland soil topics. Enjoy a catered lunch during our short business meeting where our new set of board officers will be installed and we will announce our Conservation Award of Excellence winner for 2023. In the afternoon we'll go explore local rangeland soils with our speakers.
Fall in Canon City is a great time to enjoy the canyons, trails, and sights. Planning on bringing a spouse? There's lots of fun things to do in the area including museums, dinosaur attractions, the Royal Gorge Route Railroad, the Royal Gorge Bridge & Park, ziplines, and local antiquing in Florence, the self-proclaimed antiquing capital of Colorado. The Canon City area is also a hotbed of geologic formations and many college geology departments from other states bring students here each summer to explore our rocks!
More details and agenda coming soon!
